qt.nicole: What happens to your breasts after you lose weight?
I’m losing about 90 LBS then I’ll be 150 LBS which is good for my body shape and size. But right now I wear a 48 D bra and I was wondering what will happen after the weight is gone. My breasts aren’t all that saggy and I do have a few stretch marks but they’re not that bad. Will my breasts get smaller (Which would be a plus) or will they get firm (that would be great) or will they stay the same (it would be appealing but I’d rather they shrink)…thank you in advance!
for reference I’m 19

Congratulations on the weight loss. To answer your question: Just look at an elderly lady’s.
In general what happens is that you do lose weight in the breast area resulting in a smaller breast size. I’m unsure as to how that works, but they sometimes do get smaller.. For instance my breast after having a child and lactating they went from a 38d to a 38dd to a 38c. It happens.Answer by screwed
They will most probably get smaller since breast tissue is mostly fat. When I work out, my breasts get smaller before anything else.Answer by Piojita
Don’t worry, they will look smaller and with time will take a nice form. I lost 120 pounds and look greatAnswer by marshfield_meme

That guy is nooot correct. You will like your results. They’ll come up and get a little more firm.Answer by Dawn C
It depends on your genetics really. Having pert/firm boobs is more to do with genetics than weight, they will probably be in the same place just smaller.
I was always a 40DD but now I’m a 36E so if you are losing the weight sensibly there is no need for your big boobs to get dramatically smaller or saggy.
Answer by EJThey will look like rubbery chew toys….I lost 77lbs, I know.
They lose elasticity, they sag a bit depending on how big you were. Those are the first things that go. Work out to help them out somewhat so it wont be that bad.
I was 230lbs and a 38c…now I’m 153lbs and 34b…jeez….its sucks and I’m only 26.
Answer by kerry sWe are all different , some women have babies and get stretch marks and flabby skin forever
Other people such as my friend gave birth 7 times and has twins she dosent have a mark or an inch of flab on her
look at the females in your family it is most likely that you will follow their genetics
personaly i went down a cup size but i kept firm , its down to your genes
