TSTS: What happens if my husband will not attend status conference?
I responded to divorce petition filed by my husband. We have scheduled a status conference (in CA). Because my husband does not want a divorce, I assume he might not attend it. Can you tell me, what happens if he will not appear? Will the court reschedule it? What if he will never show up? He might do anything to make it difficult for me. I want to divorce this man.
Please if you have any ideas?

This is a question for your lawyer. All I know is that he cannot stop the divorce, only you can do that since you filed originally. He can delay the proceedings, but he can’t stop them.
