Chartism is “the principles or movement of a party of political reformers, chiefly workingmen, in England from 1838 to 1848: so called from the document (People’s Charter or National Charter) that contained a statement of their principles and demands.”
It may have possibly had an impact on politics during the Industrial Revolution, because during the Industrial Revolution, this is when the working class realizes its worth and forms Unions, strikes, and so on, so that they could get the equal chance of recognition and payment, such as the middle and upper classes.

Answer by socialistpbChartism showed that the capitalists couldn’t have it all their own way, and that workers were prepared to stand up for their own interests. The demands of the Chartists have essentially been met (except for annual parliaments).
