Sara: What colour should the Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom wear?
I am wearing Ivory, the Groom is wearing Black, the bridesmaids in Pewter, and the groomsmen in pewter with orange ties. What colour is the Mother of the Bride and mother of the Groom supposed to wear? I have no idea and they are asking me. HELP!!

You could always go classic with gold, but not metallic in any way. No sequins or jewels on the material, but I think a soft gold color would like nice against ivory and pewter.
ANY COLOR….besides white or black. Just ask them to wear something appropriate unless you have a specific color that you want them in. Try to plan a shopping day with them so you can decide together! just make sure they don’t look like the bride in white..or look like your wedding feels like a funeral in black!:)
