ameme079: What are your “special recipes”, and how did you first begin to make them?
Almost every cook I know has one, I’d like to know what kinds of special recipes you have? (I’d like the name, not the recipe)
And also, how did you begin to make these? Were they in the family, or did you figure out how to make it by yourself?

I have several “special reciepes” now since I have a love affair with experimenting with different foods.
The first one I got known for is my Mango Salsa. I first came up with idea after having some slices of mango, jicama, chili marinated in lemon juice at a mexican restaraunt. I figured this might be a good salsa.

I make a really good potato ham bake.
I think the way they become yours is you mess with the ingredients until it tastes the best and your family loves it.
