: What are the signs of a good loving relationship?
My partner and I love and respect each other very much and are also best friends and we both know that this is it for us. We have both been in other long term relationships before but we knew with this one.

I’m 32 and he is 42. And aaahhhh I’m happy, he’s lovely.

Tell me though, what would anyone else say makes a good loving, lasting relationship?

Honesty, and trust. Being able to share anything without being embarrassed. Knowing what you like, and what you don’t like. Knowing the person supports you when you are being EXTREMELY annoying. When the person is there for you in every step of life. The good and the bad. But most importantly, being able to treat the person as a best friend, not just your partner.
