What are the laws on showing someone’s image and recorded voice on television without their written consent? Oklahoma.
For example, a woman put on TV for a reality show getting out of her car unknowing she was going to be on television. Never signed anything, nothing.

if this is the case you can take it to court or demand payment for this
For non-commercial purposes, if the video was recorded in a public place or where the photographer had permission to be then there is no law against it.
If this is something like an ad that makes it look like you are endorsing a product that is a whole different can of worms.

If the person was not aware that they had been recorded and if such recording was for other than legal police reasons (such as a sting operation), then it may or may not be legal. If they are a member of a studio audience for example, their approval is not required.Answer by George McCasland
