Tuesday’s and Sunday’s are the best days to list. I forgot why but my sister is an ebay fanatic and i remember her telling me that.
Sell a few cheap items first to build up some history as a seller.Answer by james b
Well the best thing i can recommend is to start the auction during i time when you feel that would be the perfect time for the item to end. If you are selling a collectible doll sell start it on a weekend around 3pm est so that it ends at a perfect time no matter where in the US you are. The reason for this is so bidders get into a bidding war the last hour of the auction. This is when you make the most money!!!! Also if you feel that this item is worth a fair amount i would say $ 200+ I would do a featured listing (cost $ 20) for this listing! you will get much more exposure and one of the biggest points i would say is start this out very low like $ 1.00 this does two thing you get charged by eBay for how much you start an auction at and the more bids you get on an item the more attractive it looks to the buyers. example if your item is worth $ 400 if you start the item at $ 1.00 you will most likely have 20-30 bids on the item once it reaches $ 400 but if you start this at $ 400 you will have 1 bid. When most people search on eBay for an item that is one of the most looked at field # of bids. its just like saying it is a hot item!!! Not that i do this since eBay is against this and i would not suggest doing this but i have heard of sellers doing this if your item is going to sell for under what you hoped to get for it have a Friend bid on it.
Well good luck!!!
