Zizi: How much could I sell a partialy broken camera for on ebay?
I have a Nikon coolpix s210, and the lens got jammed. To repiar this, it would cost about the same amount as a new camera, so I am going to sell this one on ebay. I figured some one would buy it, for the parts or battery. It is completely perfect exept for the jammed lens. How much should I sell it for on Ebay?

5 dollars, just be sure to mention the jammed lens
The most valuable piece on the camera is the LED screen, which -used- should sell for about 20 dollars. I would start the bid from 99 cents though. Let people fawn over it. Usually comes out better.Answer by Marla B
This is definitely an item you want to list as a bid auction. It’s hard to estimate how much people are going to be willing to pay for a broken item.
As already suggested, you should start the bidding at $ 0.99 to keep your eBay seller fees low but still be able to bring you the most amount of money you can get for the camera.
Answer by GabrielPut it up on auction starting at $ .99. You will get market price for it at an auction.
There are dozens of people who refurbish this stuff buying on ebay all the time, so you don’t have to worry about it under-selling. Just make sure you write “Parts” and/or “repair” on the title to get their attention
PS. If someone contacts you and makes you an offer to end the listing early, don’t take it. Its probably worth more than they are offering you. A few of them do this to try to get a better deal that way.
