I’m planning on buying wholesale items..I want to make money out of selling stuff like on ebay for example… but what is the best product to sell on ebay that will bring me good money? where can i buy stuff for wholesale that’s gonna help me sell them and get me good money?

The best product is something you make yourself. Anything you buy from a wholesaler will be difficult to re-sell at a profit. That is because so many wholesalers are selling direct to the public. That undercuts your chance to make a profit. You will be left with a bunch of things you can’t sell.

Definitely the highest selling products are electronics. Specifically, new video game systems, new computers, and new mp3 players. Apple products are especially in high demand.

I have sold on eBay for years. The best thing to sell is something you know about, enjoy and can answer questions about.

Drop shippers are probably not a good idea since shipping is out of your control.

Electronics have been one of the areas targeted by scammers who will try to steal from you.

eBay is not as good of a venue as it was a few years back.

Make sure you understand how business works before you lay out a lot of money. I’ve seen many people tank over the years because they didn’t take all of their costs into account. Selling price can be quite variable on eBay also.

Go read some of the eBay discussion boards to make sure it is a place you want to sell. I suggest you try by selling some stuff from around the house that you were done with. Make sure you understand how to make an auction etc.

I would do a search on watch count to see what types of items are popular and then google that category with wholesale to see what comes up.

Well, whats the best product to sell on eBay?……….anything that sells and a few dealers are selling. I’m not into nich items.
I was always a buyer always and now I am also a new Powerseller. I had publish an eBook early this year and sold a reasonable amount of copies. It may not relate to what you intend to sell but it can be used to sell anything using logic of How to have a store without spending too much on inventory. Wholesale can kill your business if you don’t sell. I had bought 500pcs of jade jewelry last year and had to dispose of it super cheap and still did not managed to sell about 350pcs after almost 6 months.
I sat down and thought hard about it since I was getting broke. I was expelled from eBay for 3 months for not paying my fees as I was angry. Like everyone else, we grumble about how much eBay fees suck up our profits and leave us with almost zero profit or loss. You cannot beat eBay.

Suddenly I realized there was a simpler way about this of how to even get items for free, how to reduce eBay fees as much as possible. I tried my method on 3 persons for free and myself too and it worked. I drove my sales up that I could revert back to the usual eBay method, since now I get Powerseller discount as well. With this said, I’d decided to publish an eBook. Got it out in February 2010 and sold about 31 eBooks mostly out of eBay (for a reason) and pull it off in March just before eBay fees structure changes in April. I’m now selling a revised version. As I say it may not relate to the items you intend to sell but it uses a generalize principal and it’s on my new blog. Don’t worry about the blog being a little messy as I’m 2 months new to WordPress.
