kylie: What kind of baskets sell the best in a silent auction at a church?
I have a silent auction at my church on sunday. What sells the best in your personal experience? My price range is about 15-20$ on baskets. I really need them to sell good its raising money for my mission trip so any ideas?

This sort of question is impossible to answer.
It depends on so many variables.
The age of the people at the auction makes a big difference. Older people would chose something totally different and practical to a teenager who thinks more of fashion.
It also depends on the day.
I have a crafts stall and go round local fairs. One day we will sell lots of bags another day we ran out of dolls clothes. You never can tell.

I’ve done this before.
For women: candles, potpourri, notepads, etc. You can combine all of those together.
For men: fishing stuff or car cleaning stuff.
For Everyone: food, if you could put a cake in a basket, that would definitely sell 🙂
