Loos: What are some really good shoes for running cross country?
I need to buy my boyfriend some good shoes for cross country as a gift and I know NOTHING about good running shoes:/
I know that runners like really light shoes but I don’t know anything else or a good store to go to or find online.

I have the same question running right now. I have been looking into the brand Brook’s but im not sure. From my understand…Nike is a very good brand but they do not last long and are not very durable. It also depends on the terrain (floor) that your bf runs on as well. 😛

Answer by wild boarNo offense intended, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to buy him running shoes as a gift. Buying running shoes is a very personal process, and needs to be done by the person that’s going to wear them. This is so he can see which shoe conforms to his foot arch and style the best, which one provides the right amount of cushion, and which one goes along best with his style of running. Not to put your idea down, but buying running shoes is a lot like buying underwear, or socks. You’re really only happy with your choice if you’ve had the opportunity to select it yourself. Remember that buying running shoes is a pretty important decision, as it will determine how you will run for the next couple of months. Also, if you don’t know much about running, that makes it even more difficult to get it right. It is very unlikely that your choice of shoe will be the best choice for him, because every runner is different. Just because a shoe is expensive and is recommended by a lot of people does not mean your boyfriend will think the same way.
Again, I’m not trying to put down your idea, I’m just trying to give your some advice. That why I’m here. Good luck!
Answer by speedyi run x country and i usually use running flats and i would not get them from dicks sporting goods cause they suck and expensive. i would go to a running store and get them there.Answer by Dennis
Try this shoe’s store—————–> https://www.agritura.com/Answer by Anthony
well trainers or racing
racing, i would suggest these https://www.newbalance.com/ https://www.newbalance.com/ https://www.sportsauthority.com/search/noResults.jsp?kw=3450033
i mean honestly any of the companys wont let you down
now if you go to the right store to get them theyll also do the shoe by width which can make a difference
now if your talking about trainers, those brands are good but it is very important to no what kind of arch he has to know if he pronates over pronates or under pronates
buying shoes can be a very personal process as you can tell so why not instead of buying him the shoes, offer to take him out and pick shoes
Answer by Mackreally you should have him with you and go to gazelle sports, so they make sure those are the ones he wants and make sure everything fits good. i’ve had good luck with asics saucony and nike, haven’t tried rocket dog yet though.
but he should be with you
Answer by Williami ran XC for 2 years and i used adidas both years, just make sure they are light weight but not too flimsy because some courses are very tough.
