Jeff: What are some good bible verses about not picking and choosing living standards in the bible?
I have a friend who is picking and choosing what commandments to live by (such as having sex before marriage etc.) Are there any good bible verses saying not to do that?

1 Cor 6:15-20
15Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

You can first ask your friend if he/she wants to serve God the way he wants and acepts. Then you can mention these scriptures:

(1 Corinthians 6:13) 13 Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods; but God will bring both it and them to nothing. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord is for the body.

(1 Corinthians 6:18) 18 Flee from fornication. Every other sin that a man may commit is outside his body, but he that practices fornication is sinning against his own body.

(1 Thessalonians 4:3-5) 3 For this is what God wills, the sanctifying of YOU, that YOU abstain from fornication; 4 that each one of YOU should know how to get possession of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in covetous sexual appetite such as also those nations have which do not know God;

Well, the fornication thing is easily addressed here

These verses are pretty plain, and clearly for Christians.
