bgood26: What are good resources for an algebra tutor?
I am going to be tutoring a teenager in algebra this summer. Normally I’d use the student’s textbook as a source, but since he’s not in summer school, I don’t have his text. Anyone know any supplements I can use to help this kid out?

I think you can buy a book at a book store. Start there if not maybe the library even. Good Luck
i usually choose good books from bookstores; i’m good at this
as a tutor, you may try to do so too
perhaps you have to know more about the math background of the teenager and then select a book/ supplement that will be suitable for him
you can also consider the books/ supplements you used when you were a teenagerAnswer by Jessie

You could always go to the library, use some of his old school work or make up problems. And if you have the time and/or money you can go online and order a book.
