The drinking age should be 18 because if you can die fighting in the armed forces for this country, then you damn sure should be able to legally have a beer.

Also marijuana should be legal, no one has ever die from it.

1) It destroys brain cells that are still developing.
2) It does damage to vital organs: liver, kidneys, lungs, etc.
(I include smoking of tobacco in the drug category.)
3) It diverts huge money to terrorist & criminal organizations.
4) Intoxication impairs judgement & causes accidents.
5) It’s against the law in almost all countries.

Honestly I cant think of a single one other than liver damage and stuff like that. I think the drinking age should definitely be 18 because you can go to war but cant have a beer. Maybe a reason would be that inexperienced drinkers may not know when to stop drinking and could drink to much. As long as the teen drinks responsibly then I dont see a problem with it. Yeah its illegal but just dont get caught. plain and simple

As far as alcohol goes, I think it’s more of an issue of maturity than age. Are they smart enough to know when enough is enough? Are they smart enough to not drink and drive or do anything else that runs the risk of injuring or killing themselves or others while drunk?

They should not do drugs for the same reason everyone else should not do drugs.
