at walmart they have eylliner for 2 dollars some are more. and mascara is atleast 7/8 dollars…those are the basics i would say;)Answer by Undercover Girl
It depends on how old you are, but if you’re young like me then i would advise simple make-up. Stuff like mascara, eyeliner, concealer, lip-gloss or vaseline and maybe some eyeshadow for special occassions. If you’re older, then I guess you can go for the foundation, brozer, etc. but if you are young then avoid this kind of stuff because you could end up looking older than you are or like an orange. Hope I helped! =)Answer by Baybeez

Depends on what look you’d like to achieve
Here are some basics that most people use:
Foundation Primer: Will smooth your skin, and help your foundation last longer, and look great.
Foundation: Evens out skin tone, gives a ‘base’ for any other make up you want to put on top
Blush: Gives your face some color, helps contour
Eyeliner: Lines your eyes for a more defined look.
Mascara: Darkens lashes, and makes them look more voluminous
Eye shadow: Different colors can be used to give your eyes (or your style) a different look
Concealer: Covers up blemishes
Powder: Good for setting your makeup
Lipgloss/lipstick: Gives your lips color
Since you’re just starting out, I’d go for a little concealer, mascara or eyeliner (maybe both)
Good luck
I just started wearing makeup to. Stick with Basic’s Mascara, foundation, eyeshadow, blush, and maybe
so eyeliner. Some people say that the cheap makeup doesn’t work it does infact to me it works better.
You can go to any dollar store like Dollar genreal or just about anywhere. Look for a Brand Called
”L.A Color’s” thier makeup is not that much money it actually works and the colors are pretty.
Cover Girl is anthor one of my f avorites thier makeup isn’t all that expensive either.
I hope I helped goodluck<3Answer by DustyBox
First of all, how clear is your skin? If you have lovely clear skin and a smooth complexion I would recommend that you don’t wear foundation as it can lead to blocking your pores and causing acne.
If this is the case, just get a concealer stick for dark circles or the odd blemish.
If you do want to wear foundation, however, get one that matches your skin tone. Put it on your lower jaw-line when trying it in the shop. Put on three different shades, one that looks like it would match your skin and on a shade lighter and one a shade darker. Make sure you’re in good light (natural is best) then blend each of them in. The one that blends the quickest is for you. I personally use a creamy foundation and put a powder one over the top to stop shine.
If you want to make your eyes more dramatic, get a soft, black eyeliner and a black mascara for everyday use. Brown eyeliner and mascaras are pretty pointless as far as I can tell and coloured eyeliners are good for parties and special occasions. A good lip balm should be had at all times for lovely, smooth lips and get a gloss or lipstick in a natural colour just to give your lips a bit of interest. An eyelash curler isn’t always essential but makes an awful lot of difference.
Those are my essentials.

First of all foundation.Especially if you have acne/acne scars.
If your skin under your eyes seems tired,or you have dark circles you should really use a concealer.
A Natural Blush.
A good mascara.
A Glide-On Eyeliner.
A nude lipstick/lip-gloss.
A flattering eyeshadow.
A brush set.
