When you send a letter to Santa, it goes to your local post office, Everyone knows where Santa lives so it just goes to the north pole, here santa keeps it all on file and checks against the naughty list to see if you have been well behaved..
If you have been really good, he recycles your letters back into special paper so that you can write another letter next year..
I know this as Santa told me he loves getting his letters from children all over the world. And by recyling they dont have to keep cutting his trees down.
