Kiz M: How do you write “Happy New Year” in Chinese?
There’s two of them: ‘sun leen fai lok’ and also ‘gong hay fat choi”. i’d like to know how to write both of them! 🙂 Thanks!

sun leen fai lok’ = 孙有兴辉乐’

gong hay fat choi= 龚干草发彩

Sun leen fai lok and gong hay fat choi are cantonese. these are not Mandarin or China national language..

if you say chinese, it means you ask for the mandarin words.
Sun leen fai lok means happy new year the mandarin is XIN NIAN KUAI LE

gong hay fat choi means congrats and may you become prosperous this year, the mandarin is GONG XI FA CAI
