I was always a bit suspicious of Santa. And I never got the presents I wanted even with a letter. So I really gave up on it on the age of 5. Never really believed it before, but kept hope just to keep friends innocent. Matured too quickly.

My dad dressed up every year and visited my sister and I on Christmas Eve, giving us each an early christmas present. I was 7 when caught him kissing my mom. I was so mad! I pulled on his beard…and off it came.

found out like at age 7 when my mom pretended santa came down our chimney and left presents there. i asked her if santa really did come said no. better to know the truth than live a lie. besides…i wasnt really a believer in santa anyways..so i wasnt upset or anything..

Actually, Santa is NOT fake. We have just embellished the story so much we have created a myth that seems unreal. But Santa is an emotional experience of giving. It is the most wonder, mystical, time of the year. We get to give to others without limit or even reason. Just for the fun of it. It is so cool. And we get darling smiles and laughter in return. That’s the spirit!

saw my gifts in my parents’ room
In my family now, we put gifts under the tree as soon as we buy them and tell the kids Santa sent us an email to pick them up early. We say he needs all the help he can get during this busy season.
