Michael M: Trying to go to Uganda for the invisible children?
My friend and I are trying to get to Uganda to help the invisible children, it was suggested that we film our trip to bring back and show the our school and other schools in our area our trip to increase awareness of the tragedy, but we are trying to decide how to get there, i.e. money, transportation etc. We live in Seattle if thats any use. and while we are there i would like to do more than just film, are there any other things we could do to help? such as help with the reconstruction of a school? ANY information would be a great help, thanks!

Raising your money will help get you there..
I am from California and my plane ticket alone when I go to countries in Sub-Saharan Africa goes at LEAST about $ 1500. And then once you have money for a plane ticket you’ll need money for food and shelter transportation. So save up and raise. ( $ depends on what airlines, and what you will be doing there)
here’s some sites you should look at for volunteering organizations. .

Or you can always see if a local church will be going over there for a Missions Trip.. (you don’t have to belong or be religious to go on a mission trip.)
Good luck!!
