like u said i think
practice is the best thing
🙂
It’s good that you practice alot. Nothing beats practice. I’d recommend some kind of physical training… that could be a personal trainer or just a two mile jog every other day.
Also, you may want to create some kind of work out routine that involves footwork. Yes, we all hate it but footwork is priceless in the long run.
If you ever find yourself with some free time, but no one to play with, go out and practice your serve or hit on a ball machine.
If you are just looking to get good for try outs, just try to get in decent shape, but make sure your strokes are smooth.
Nothing beats experience, and playing with your friends will give you great experience, but a coach may help your personal needs. Consider hiring a coach for a weekly hour lesson.
For making the Varsity team, check your racket, and make sure that it is fit for you. It probably is, but a slightly different racket may make your game noticeably different.
Other than that, PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. Good luck making the Varsity squard!
Answer by tennisgirl2Just keep practicing! You also should make sure you have a nice raquet and good strings. Maybe you could ask your coach what your goal is and see if he would be willing to help you, if he can’t, ask him if he knows any good instructors. Keep it up!Answer by Speedy_18
just keep practicing is the best thing
but you can impress the coach the best with good consistency over good power
get all the motions down first to where u dont miss very often then start hitting the ball harder and harder till you can hit full power but make it in still
just keep practicing and don’t give up no matter what trial awaits you. Don’t just practice, the right thing to say is, correct practice makes perfect. So just keep on doing what you’re doing right now. Soon, you might even be the best player in your varisty team. Champions are not made overnight. God bless!Answer by Jonathan C
The first obvious thing is to practice. However it is how you practice that is extremely important. The best way to do this is to play against people who are better than you. After you play them go out immediately and practice block training. That means to hit the same forehand or backhand over and over again until you start to find your range and feel for the shot. Repeat the cycle as much as you can and you will find that you will improve if you have enough patience and desire to improve. There are many more intricacies to the improving than just practice play practice play such as technique and drills, but the simplest way is to do what I have described. I hope that helps.Answer by catmandu
Hi, Glad you are playing.
1. Start with lessons. If you develope bad habits eary they will be hard to break.
2. Concentrate on proper technique.
3. Find a ball machine and get consistent.
practice a lot! and try playing actual games. then do tennis games that still develop skills but are fun too
