kitty81301: Selling…………?
Well……. i work at a pet store and i had a question about how to approch people. If you walked in to the store and were looking to buy a puppy what questions would you want answered before you even asked them and how woud I really get you to buy the dog? Basically what would you expect of me as your sales person and how do i actually get you to buy the dog? I figured i would get some feed back from people that might at some point be coustomers.
thanks

The people that came in either came in to get a puppy or not. The ones that are not there to buy won’t buy (most of the time) the ones that came into buy probably have some idea as to the kind of puppy they want. I would ask them what kinds of things are they looking for in a dog……….good with kids, barkers, short or long hair, life span, grooming needs, size of full grown dog. things of that nature find out what they are looking for then produce a puppy similar to their needs. You need to ask them what they want and find out their needs and for you to produce the correct dog you need to know the breeds and the puppies you will be selling.
I know my next dog will be a great dane and that I won’t purchase a puppy, it would be full grown so if I was to walk in the store I am a customer who could not be sold.
But with my next dog all the questions I asked above I would want answered and more.
