When you play Secret Santa, do you reveal yourself to the person you gave a present to?

: When you play Secret Santa, do you reveal yourself to the person you gave a present to?
You see, me and my friends were planning on doing Secret Santa this year, because we can’t really afford to buy a present for everyone. They’re all saying that you do reveal yourself at the end, but I think that’s silly, it’s called SECRET Santa for a reason. What do you guys think?

Obviously you do always reveal yourself in the end. That’s the way how it’s suppose to be. Wouldn’t it bother you if you never knew who that wonderful gift is from?

i know people that do revel themselves, but it is not a secret. maybe in a since you didnt know how gave you the gift, but they just tell you. making them a regular santa.
