Shaula Brandt: How many science related agencies does the government currently operate?
NASA, National Science Foundation…I am certain there would be others for medical research and other scientific endeavors. What other agencies are there for science, mathematical and research of the like.

Not sure. The Bush administration took all the science out of the government and replaced it with partisan politics.
