The Big Cheese: Religion???
Okay, well, I’ve just turned 17, and to be honest am not really sure where I stand on religion, I want to believe in something, but I personally I find many aspects of religion, especially Christianity and Islam illogical and hard to believe.
My question is: is this just a teenage phase, have I not found the right religion, or am I not meant to believe in God!
Has anyone else ever questioned themselves like this?Or is it just me?
Thanks for your answers

I was called at 22….theres time….do you go to church ever?
You should not believe in anything because you “want to”; the truth is not dictated by your desires. You should search for the truth by asking questions, examining evidence, and thinking critically.
The internet is a wonderful resource; so is your local library.

i also felt like this at your age and my friends have also. research and just figure things out . talk to other people about it, but don’t let anyone force their ideas on you. there is no right or wrong with religious issues, although some make it seem that way.Answer by Irina Alisa Bee
This is why i love Paganism: If one God(dess) seems crazy, pick another one! 🙂

I did not find religion till i was 34 so there is time for you yet.
Study, ask questions and there is an answer for you out there. I went through different fazes raised Protestant, not believing at all, believing in God but not religion then i found Islam and to me it answered all my questions.
When the time was right i found what was right for me. You are young and it is natural to feel that way and question everything. It is the only way you get answers after all. Its not just you its very normal.
Good luck with your search and with whatever conclusion you come to.
Answer by Bruce7I’ve heard preachers give testimony they thought they had been saved at an early age only to discover that they were not. The late Pastor L.R. Shelton, of Radio-Missions, Tabernacle, First Baptist Church of Algiers, in Walker, LA, say, he wasn’t truly saved until he was in his 30’s. When you make your heart ready to seek the truth and the light, you will find the true God. And sure, we have all questioned our beliefs, but once your indwelt with the Holy One, you will find an inner spiritual peace that you have never experienced. Jeremiah 29:12-13 (Amplified Bible)
12Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you.
13Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.(A)
Answer by jesusfreakHonestly, EVERYONE is meant to believe God and to love him. Only because God loves us. Not only that, we were made to love god and to cherish him. It is not just a teenage phase, it’s usual and I went through it. And yes, everyone questions themselves like this. It’s not just you, you are never alone. It may be hard to understand, but if you really trust God enough and read the Bible and pray as much as you can, your faith will grow stronger. Praying for just the little things will help and thanking him for everything helps also. Whatever you can think of, helps. Also, just remember it is NEVER too late to ask for god’s forgiveness…and remember that he died for you on the cross and is waiting for you to ask for his salvation. He’s done his job…it’s your turn now.
