Can you use a prepayed card to buy things online?

Matt S: Can i use a prepayed “credit card” to buy things online.?
Usually if i want to buy something from amazon.com I would just buy an amazon gift card, but some smaller onlien sites that sell things only take credit cards. I am under 18 and do not have a credit card, but could I buy a prepayed visa card or something of the sort to buy things online? I’ve never tried it before.

Yes, you can, on some sites. Some sites do not accept prepaid cards, and some do. I’m 16 years old and I got a prepaid Discover Card for christmas, and used it to buy clothes online.
