Siamese6: How can you politely ask a co-worker to stop snorting snot up further into their stuffed nasal cavity?
This co-worker has the most chalk-full-of-slime sounding slurp of snot he keeps snorting up his nose. It seriously makes me want to vomit or lodge something across the room at him. I don’t understand why he can’t just go blow his nose…even at his desk– that’s better than subjecting the rest of his co-workers to the sound of each lugi he’s digesting!

try handing him a tissue. Or just flat out ask him to please use a tissue.
Bring him in a box of Kleenex tomorrow. Maybe he’ll get the hint!Answer by The Loving Addict
Start pooping in your trashcan. Maybe he’ll be grossed out and then you’ll be even.Answer by DD75
Leave a brand new box of Kleenex on his desk with a note that says. “I noticed that you have the sniffles.”Answer by doglover
If the box of Kleenex doesn’t work you are going to have to ask your boss to have a word with him.Answer by Stephanie Lynn
Eww.. that is one of my pet peeves too!! Have a care package delivered to him at the office with tissues, cold medicines, a nasal aspirator etc. If he doesn’t get the hint from that then you should take the above advice and poop in your trash can!Answer by Becky F
I would suggest you start an office rumor that he’s got a severe coke addiction or better yet, just turn around when he starts sucking snot and tell him he’d be better off shooting up then snorting. Another idea would be to have the rest of the staff chime in and slurp snot in unison immediately after he does…perhaps then he’ll get the hint.
