Desperate4Answers: Please explain this!?
Ok, in English and Language Arts today we got this project and it is due tomorrow and I’m panicing because I’m not really understanding what I am supposed to do. We had to read 2 fairy tales; one traditional and the other one not.I read “The Tale of Tricky Fox” and about half of “The Swineherd”and we filled out an elements chart. Here are directions written on my paper. Please explain them so that a dummy could understand… like… as if I dont even know anything about it…(which I dont)…
Fairy Tale Elements Extenstion Activity:
You need to pick a fairy tale element that was evident in one or both of the stories you just analyzed and recreate is artisically and descriptively. You and your partner MUST pick different elements to recreate. It needs to be “bulletin-board worthy”.
(thats the first part and now heres a little bit more)
Reminder: the fairy tale elements are:special words, characters(both good and evil), the presence or rayalty/castles,magic,prob & solu.

so what you need to do is compare and contrast the two stories that were read. Did they have overlapping or similar themes? All fairy tales have morals, so state the moral . (Does not start with I think, it is clear)
Also, your partner needs to do a different part, like was magic apperant in both stories? Were royalty in both stories? Did both stories have similar or extremily different settings?
that is the whole thing. Good luck
I’m guessing that the Fox could talk I tale of Tricky Fox.
Fairytale Element – Animals That Talk 🙂
Illustrate it with some pictures of animals talking – speech bubbles etc from the book.
Descriptively – Describe how he talks and the way he uses language to persuade people to do what he wants .
