how old do you have to be to get a nape piercing?

a nape is a surface piercing. usually you have to be 18.
some parlors require you to be 21 or graduated from high school.. ie not in your parents house.. responsible for yourself.

this is for their protection so that parents cant sue because the child got the piercing and still lives and is under the parents jurisdiction..

but each parlor has their own guidelines.. call ahead and check they are more than happy to answer these questions for you!

If you’re in the United States and want to get pierced at a GOOD place, it’s 18+. No good piercing place will do a surface piercing (which is what a nape piercing is) on a minor, even with consent.

what is a nape piercing ?? ( back of your neck ??) i think that you have to be 18 + even with parental consent they wont do it if ur under 18
also surface piercing are prone to rejecting

Most places will not offer it but if they do then it will be to those at least over the age of 18.

As nape piercings and all surface piercings have a tendency to reject you should do your research and find a good place that has experience with surface piercings and nape piercings. Also, any good places will not pierce someone who doesn’t already have experience with piercings.
