Parents, how was your job interview ?

Clo !: Parents, how was your job interview ?
After you spent a couple of years at home, raising your children in the best possible way, while hubby was working ?
I went to a “job interview” today. Although I have a good resume from before “parenthood”, and I still felt insecure. They kind of asked me:”My goodness, with this resume, what have you been doing all these years?” When I explained that I’ve been raising my kids, they kind of looked at me like “what a waste”. Of course, they didn’t say that but I felt it. After the interview, I felt like a recent “College graduate”, and full of fears. Is that normal ?

I would hope that they would be understanding of the lapse in employment. I think that saying you were taking care of your children is by far the best reason for an employment gap!
