my parents are WAYY overprotective. they dont let me do anything. i am not aloud to have a boyfriend, and today there is a party i have been waiting for and they wont let me go because there are boys there. i kno all of the boys and they are good kids and really nicee . is there anyway i can keep them from being soo protective ?
i know how to spell … i used an abreviation

im sorry but im not going to give out my age and does it really matter how old i am ?

Even the best of “kids” make bad judgment calls and your parents know it. They have been there and done that.

Talk to them from your heart and ask them to have enough faith and trust in you that if you are ever in a difficult situation you will make a good judgment on what to do. Let them know they have taught you better and then prove it to them.

i had protective parents too…but you have to trust them…i know that is way hard, but for the most part they are right…and if you honestly think they are too protective try talking to them…ask for a little more freedom…and tell them that you’ll check in and always let them know where you will be…that builds trust with them and always remember Do NOT lie to them..then you will loose trust

How old r u? I think parents should hold their boundaries but also let kids make mistakes sometimes (It’s part of life)

well … just say that your grown up enof 2 look afta ya self … if they still wont let ya go 2 anythin or 2 overpretected then just dont talk 2 them ever, dont eat, dont do anythi wit them untill they let ya hav your own person life … mite sound bit mean … but they hav 2 learn … tell them how ya really feel and stuff
