Picard Facepalm: On the AP Chinese exam, is there a disadvantage in using traditional characters?
I’ve been learning Taiwanese traditional characters for many years, and was thinking about taking a shot on this exam. But, I’ve heard an experience (from a different exam) where those using traditional characters took too long writing and couldn’t finish, but those using simplified had enough time.
Do they make accomodations for this?
Any other tips, knowledge, or experiences would be helpful.

I don’t think it matters. If you’re used to writing traditional then use it.
But the exam in my skool, you just type the chinese out using the computer.
i think it doesn’t matter that much
arr you sure you have to write, not type? if you have to write , i do recommend simplified characters .
