Unfortunately Barack Obama listed The Reverend Wright as one of his spiritual advisors.
Unfortuantely the reverend Wright made some speeches that were recorded.
In those speeches, the Reverend Wright says that the attacks on the World trade Towers and the resulting deaths of over 3,000 civillians were justifiable retribution against us in The United States for our sins.
Unfortunately, when you list someone on your website as one of your spiritual advisors many people will take that to mean that you agree with all of their views.
That is certainly the case in Presidential Politics.
I will guarantee you that if Barack Obama is nominated as the Democratic Candidate for President of the United States, the McCain people will be running advertisements every 15 minutes of the Reverend Wright making those statements.
On the screen will be videotapes of people jumping to their deaths on the pavement below rathe than be burned to death in the Towers.
Also on the screen will be pictures of Barack Obama.
The pictures will be designed to associate Barack Obama with the statements of the Reverend Wright saying that this was justified because our bad behavior. This will not only outrage most Republican voters, it will outrage at least 30% of Democratic Voters.
The McCain people will then askyou if you really trust Barack Obama to protect you as the Commander in Chief.
In my experience in past elections at the Presidential lever approximately 30% of the registered Democrats can be persuaded to vote for the Republican with this approach.
That is what Ronald Reagan did to us in The Carter administration after the hostage crisis in Iran.
And the Iranians did not even kill any of the hostages!
Welcome to the real world or Presidential politics.
The statements of the Reverend Wright will cost Barack Obama at least 30% of the Democratic vote after the McCain people are through hyping the daylights out of this.
The defection of 30% of the Democrats will be sufficient ot cost Barack Obama the election and give the Presidency to John McCain.
John McCain will get about 25% of the vote from the Republicans. George Bush has blown it so badly that only the most hard core Republicans will vote for John McCain. That is approximately 25%.
Unfortunately with the Reverend Wright’s statements John McCain and his supporters will be able to take approximately 30% of the Democrats who believe that National Security is very important.
That will give John McCain 55% of the vote and the Presidency.
Unfortuantely that goofy Reverend Wright has just cost Barack Obama the election.
Barack Obama could have made history.
It is a shame that the Reverend Wright ruined it for him
Answer by black leopardobama is running for the presidency, it just happens that he is endorsed by his church that happens to be an anti american and anti semitic.Answer by Ron N

Would you be asking this question if a white candidate attended a church whose pastor was associated with the KKK?
I’m guessing no. You’d probably be busy ripping on that candidate for that association.
Answer by RyKen’s momThis is the problem. You have a man who wants to be the leader of the US, and he has belonged to a church for over 20 years that is lead by a racist, anti-American man. You must be judged by the company that you keep. Not only is this man his pastor, he is a very close friend, one he calls his “uncle”. This indicates that there is a personal connection at a level beyond just acquaintances. I hate Bill Clinton, he’s a pig. But having an affair is NOT synonymous with belonging to a racist, anti-American, Farrakhan supporting church. This is the problem.Answer by Sewer Rat
Obama is running, however, I find it hard to believe that anyone that has attended a church for 20 years has not been highly influenced by its teachings. A person attends a church that expresses their personal beliefs, if you do not agree with a churches’ teachings – why do you go there? We are often judged by the company we keep and the values we uphold.Answer by The Sh*t
You really don’t think it’s important that the man who wants to be President of the United States aligns himself, for 20 YEARS NO LESS, with an anti american pastor who spews hate speech? Yet people like you were the same ones crying in outrage that Clinton had someone, she didn’t even know by the way, who was not so savory give money to her campaign and claimed that she was horrible for this and should step out of the campaign. Yet when your golden boy puts people like Wright in important posititions in his life it is meaningless? Give me a break.Answer by Michael M.
Educated blacks on cnn said they agree with rev. wright and see nothing wrong about such statements. Okay, but that is the problem. Not being able to understand how the majority of white americans feeol about that.
Just makes me want to puke then i will be ready to vote or do “By Any Means Necessary,” like Malcom X preached. If I didn’t know better I would guess that Trinity Chruch of Chicago was the late black leader’s church. Much in common, philosophically.
Answer by PrincessObama is running for the presidency, but folks can’t find any dirt on him, so they blow up something that has nothing to do with anything with hopes of bringing him down, but they can’t and they won’t. Obama was sent, and he will win!Answer by Linda T
Obama is running for the presidency, but unfortunately as I have always told my son and the children I teach, we are “known by the company we keep”. Obama has remained in this church for 20 years listening to Rev.Wright’s preaching and has been friends with him. At any time, Obama should have distanced himself from Rev. Wright’s preaching. I can not believe during the 20 years of preaching, that Obama or his wife, did not hear inflammatory, racist preaching. They should have left the church, and not allowed their children to continue to hear this type of preaching. I would not continue in a church that preached KKK or anti-semitism. I would leave immediately. I believe that this is what Obama and his wife should have done. He has continued in this church while being part of the US Senate and this bothers me as it should bother a lot of other people in this nation.Answer by cutie
What did his pastor say that was so racist? I read the article on msn and is all he said is that America has hurt other country’s and Clinton does not understand the struggles of African Americans. you could not find any dirt on this man.so you twist something out of context.Answer by someone
you can’t find any dirt in Obama but you can’t find any good either .It’s like when you apply for a credit card ,no history , no qualifyAnswer by Viviana Milenka
No, but these are important questions:
Did he know that his Pastor went with Louis Farrakhan to Lybia in the 1980’s as reported in Wikipedia?
Did he know the Church HE CHOSE allegedly gave a PRIZE to Mr. Louis Farrakhan in 2007?
DID HE LIE OR OFFER THE U.S. VOTERS MISLEADING INFORMATION ABOUT THESE ISSUES ?
IS HE QUALIFIED FOR THE PRESIDENCY IF HE EVEN DOES NOT KNOW WHA IS GOING ON IN THE CHURCH HE CHOSE FOR HIMSELF AND HIS FAMILY FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS ???
Answer by U.A.OWhy are you confused? Are you one of those people who are going to say that it was Pastor Wright who made those statements so we should not judge Obama because of them? I would agree with you completely. What you don’t seem understand is that we are not judging Obama because of what was said by his Pastor. We are basing our judgment of Obama on his decision to stay a member of a racist church for twenty years and the fact that Obama claims Wright was a mentor to him. Let me define mentor, just in case you don’t understand the implications. A mentor is not just a friend or someone you chose to hang out with on the weekends. A mentor is someone that you consider a wise and trusted counselor or teacher. So in other words, this is a man that has shaped and influenced how Obama views the world. Do you understand how that reflects negatively on Obama’s character? How can people not grasp this concept? It’s not that difficult. Our president is supposed to be a man that represents all races and genders of people in this country. This is something that Obama cannot do, if he has been taught or influenced into having racist views by Wright. Just this morning I was absentmindedly listening to the news, but I remember them saying that their is a story out today in a major news paper where a reputable source claims to have been in the church when Pastor Wright was making these statements. The source also claims that Obama was their nodding along in agreement. I apologize that I did not catch the name of the paper or the source, but I am sure the media sources will push it so you will hear about it in a day or so. On the Fox interview on Friday, Obama claimed that he knew nothing of these comments by Wright and then went on to claim that if he had he would have left the church. If this latest news story is true, this will make Obama a liar as well. Oprah used to be a member of this church, yet she had the common sense to leave it because the statements by Pastor Wright upset her. As an American citizen, I want to know why Obama didn’t show the same good judgment and also leave the church? If he didn’t have the common sense to leave the church, how is he prepared to lead the country? Wake up Obamites. This is not the man we want leading the country.Answer by Jacob W
You must consider both. To set the record straight, Obama admits to the following:
He was not religious until his Community Activism brought him to the this particular church.
He was so impressed with the Pastor and his message he joined the church and became close friends with the Pastor.
The Pastor is and has been his spiritual adviser and mentor for over twenty years.
Obama brings his children to this church.
Now, a few observations on my part:
The anti-American and racist diatribes by this Pastor are not an unusual occurrence. They are not seen as disgraceful but are heartily supported by the congregation as is apparent in the reactions displayed while the Pastor is spewing his venom. There is no one booing or walking out; rather they are on their feet cheering. The message of this church is strictly that of black separatism and hatred of America. That is why Mrs. Obama said, not once but twice, that she has always been ashamed of America. This church professes a strong commitment to an Africa-centric allegiance. Thus, Obama will not wear an American Flag pin nor hold his hand over his heart during the National Anthem.
The only conclusion any thinking person can arrive at is that this racist and anti-American man is no more suitable to be President of the United States than George Wallace was.

I always wondered what the Religious Left believed in. Imagine going to church and being preached to about politics.
I know there’s no “wall of separation” between church and state in the constitution, but shouldn’t churches stick to religion and not rant about politics and politicians?
Obama says Jeremiah Wright is his mentor and has been for 20 years. He chose to listen to this man for that long. Obama said in his book that he’s even purchased this man’s tapes. This pastor married Obama & Michelle as well as baptized their children.
No wonder Michelle Obama hates this country. Everyone in the J. Wright congregation is told to hate whites, and the whole country. He may as well hand out guns on the way out and incourage them to shoot as many whites as possible on the way home. I hope this kind of hate filled church is rare.
Sure gives christianity a bad name. The only churches I’ve been to preach love and kindness and incourage people to help others.
So Obama chose this hate-monger as his spiritual mentor and obviously believes what he says. Now he says he’s never heard any of these sermons that are all over the internet. Seems unlikely to me. Is he lying?
I’m just glad that the light is being cast on the Religious Left so we can finally see what they really are and what they really believe in. Pretty scary stuff.
Answer by IakonaYou are only as good as the company you keep. He flat out lied when he said that he didn’t realize his pastor is a racist. There is a clip of one of those inflammatory speeches with Barack there just nodding his head. Unfortunately not much difference b/w him and his church. Would you expect there to be after 20 years? and that doesn’t even touch past drug use and the Weathermen.Answer by fungushnitzel
This video will answer your question.Answer by Rick A
Obama is really foolish to go to that church and here is why.
Either way Obama loses.
People will think either
A. Obama is so foolish and not paying attention to what the Pastor says that Obama should have used discernment in what the Pastor tells people to believe in the pastors racists comments.
Or
B. Obama really believes that way
So either Obama is foolish and dumb to go to such a racist church when at the same time he is running for President? How foolish and dumb can one be lol?
I mean, he knew ahead of time that people are going to look at what Obama believes in his heart, his soul.
How can one say they are a Christian yet hate the white man like that church does.
Its a shame in a way as Obama could have been a great man in history but Prejudice has ruined it for him now…he may win the nomination but McCain is higher in the polls and now with this being shown how racist Obamas church is….he’s toast now.
If I was running for President I would be VERY VERY careful at what church I am being fed at.
Show me a persons church and what the church preaches and I’ll show you how the person really believes in their heart and soul.
Now what is the ultimate nail in Obamas chance of Presidency is he, Obama ACTUALLY put the fool pastor on his campaign to help! lol Oh my gosh, that alone proves Obama is just too foolish to understand how to run a country.
He could have been great but their prejudice and anger against slavery and the white man blah blah blah has ruined their lives and future.
I mean, I am white and my ancestors where Slaves in Egypt and I don’t go around nagging and complaining as I wasn’t a slave and it wasn’t me that was a slave.
Some blacks just use that to get sympathy but sympathy wont win the Presidency.
Leadership and a Positive Message will. Obama in truth had a wonderful message but what does he really believe in his soul?
There is not a person on the earth that believes Obama went there for 20 years and never heard the evil that pastor was spewing out.
I am glad the Pastors true colors have been shown.
The light has shown on the darkness
If you go to McDonalds and are fed there and you go back that means YOU LIKE what you have been fed.
If you go to Carls Jr. and are fed and go back again..that means YOU LIKE what you have been fed.
Obama went to the church once and then what did he do? The idiot went back! Why? Because he LIKES what he was being fed.
Obama is going down the tubes now..you could even say HIS CHICKENS ARE COMING TO ROOST ! lol
Answer by GiselleObama is running for president and his mentor and spiritual guide is supporting him as he has for the past 20 years. Only problem is his “mentor” hates America, hates whites, believes Aids was created by OUR government to eliminate the poor black people and is very fond of the black militant Farakhan. Of course Obama did not know of his pastor’s radical beliefs when his pastor married him and his wife Michelle, baptized his daughter’s and when he included him as part of his campaign. In twenty years of listening to his pastor’s speeches, being spiritually guided by him and socializing with him, he did not know of his pastor’s beliefs until very recently, actually didn’t know until the media brought it to light, or so he would like people to believe. Obama is either extremely naive or a flat out liar. Anyone who could be this naive is definitely not qualified for the White House and we definitely don’t need another liar in the White House.Answer by ★★★ Katharine ♥♥♥♥
When you grow up – most people learn the morals of the parents –
This minister was an important person in his life for 20 years – Do you think he learned alittle bit of his morals from him? of course he did!
If Obama gets in – guess I’ll be voting republican for the first time in my life.Answer by preciosa
I did not even find Rev. Wright’s comments offensive, and I am white. I don’t think the things that he has said make him racist or un-American. I don’t understand what people are getting so upset about. Maybe because the truth is hard to swallow? People like to blindly follow propoganda.Answer by scott41301
Let me break it down for you. Obama’s church figures prominently in how he feels about certain issues. By his own admission, his pastor is like a part of his family. Thus, his family is racist against the supposed “rich white” America. Only an idiot would vote for Obama. Or someone who hates whites. I think the white people have proven that they are not prejudiced, after all Obama won in many white states. But Obama turned out to be a fox in sheep’s clothing. Think it over carefully before putting him in power.Answer by Bradd P
Obama and his values. His spiritual advisor should be considered also.Answer by Vee Dizzle
obama has nothing to do with what some pastor at his former church says. the fact that they would try and use something as remote as this against him is lame. i think his public rebuttal was extremely articulate and classy. definitely way more articulate than the idiot that is currently in the white house! when is the last time you heard george w bush give a speech without dropping stupid stereotypes or totally effing up the meaning of simple words one should have learned in 3rd grade? exactly.Answer by Plowmaster
