Well, like David Bergland said “If people are basically evil, the last thing you’d want is a big government staffed by those evil folks exercising control over you”. So if we assume people are basically evil, then there should be a government, but a small, weak and inefficient government. That will provide nothing but basic services that can not be provided efficiently by private individuals, but unable to threaten the liberties of individuals who do not threaten the liberties of others.
