Go up to her when no one else is around and just tell her, its not very hard. When i started i was trying to avoid telling her but i did about an hour after so its all good, nothing really changes or anything. History a minute later i suppose.

Simple, ask for a pad or a tampon. My mom died before I started, so I had to ask my dad, which sucked! I think you can do it, its not that hard!

I think I know what you’re asking. Think of where you’re comfortable talking with mom and tell her. If you think she may go crazy, then, wait until you two are out together alone… like a restaurant. That way, she’s not going to make a scene and hopefully will be able to calm down and talk with you about what to do next. It’s something you don’t want to wait too long to tell her, though. You need to know lots of things, especially about protecting yourself and self respect, etc…

But, remember, she’s your mom and she will love you, no matter what.
