Well i was hoping you could recommend me some books to widen my library. I recently got “the norton anthology of western literature” and it includes some things like “Faust” and some by Jean-Jaques Rousseau.

Sherlock Holmes for sure. Others would be Wuthering Heights, The Odyssey, The Iliad, any Shakespeare, The Inferno, Tom Jones…. any of those are very nice.
Norton is a GREAT way to go with anthologies. They have some of the best introductions.
Try the Norton Anthology of American Literature, English Literature, World Literature, etc. When you’re not sure what to get to broaden your reading horizons, an anthology is a great way to go.

This isn’t a link to a place to BUY these books, it’s a link to a site that lets you read the entire books online for free. If you’re somewhat geeky you’ll figure out a way to download the books onto your own computers and read them with Micro$ oft Reader.
Granted this is college level reading, but you’ll literally ROTFL.
