What books could I read to better myself to become a Veterinary Technician?
I’m currently a junior in high school and I have no prior knowledge of the veterinary profession. But I am planning on going to college to become a Veterinary Technician, and I was wondering if there were some good books that would give me more knowledge and insight on the information need to become a vet tech.

You could go online and take a look at some of the required textbooks for online vet tech courses. Get an introductory book and read away!
Start with books written on basic animal husbandry—daily care and keeping. You can also find books on basic anatomy of animals that would be a good basic area for you to read up on. But for the most part now you should focus on your basic education–biology, anatomy, math courses. And volunteer at veterinary hospitals or take a part time job in a veterinary hospital when you are older. These things will help you build a good foundation for the more specialized education you will get in college.Answer by RV
