snow: “let work on getting together in the new year” means he will go out with me during the new year?
When I asked a guy friend out during the xmas by email. He replied me” a little difficult to meet me since his friends are staying with him. let work on getting together in the new year” I want to know whether he wants to out with me in the new year. The new year (for american) MEANS Jan 1?

yes…
Yah, if he is that vauge it probably means you are a fall back if his original plans fall throughAnswer by cvegas229
Honestly it means he’s not that into you, men will make time immediatly if they dig you. If he intended on actually getting together with you he would have said something like “Lets hook up on such and such date”, not lets work on getting together…Answer by camptart
let it go a few weeks… then drop a friendly line.. if he is interested he will make time for you… if you get another noncommital response then he is either not interested or not ready… let it go.Answer by sara
i think he’s interested… but like most of us this time of yr have a lot going on…so he probly means he wants to wait until things settle down.. good lucj 🙂 havea great xmas and new yr!Answer by naus

Yes. The holidays are a busy time for ppl with family and such. He is saying lets wait til after the holidays, then you guys can talk about meeting up, going out. He doesn’t have time to think about it right now.
GOOD LUCK!
