In the last 15 years I could name 30 pubs in my local area closed for good.But many new chain pubs opening up run by robot staff or are they cloned because every city I’ve been they all seem exactly the same.Souless!
Come on Mr Brown less taxation,less pouncey bars and more pork scratchings,warm beer and characters!

its sad, every time a local ‘dive’ gets shut down another dirty old man doesn’t get laid. o well, but i would have to say its probably not the taxes as much folks in your area who would go to crapplebees for their watered-down martinis then a local joe’s bar with their grey goose bottles filled with popov.
