I’m going to paris and london in a few monthes but i’m only 18 and i was wondering if motels will let you check in at the age of 18 because i know some hotels in the US require that you be 21.

18 is the age of majority in France so you should have no problems.
The hotel I am staying in says you must be at least 18 which is pretty much the standard in Paris. You can check with the hotel or the booking agency just to make sure though.Answer by Farnic
Legal majority in France is the age of 18 years old.
You can check in with NO problem.
At this age you can also buy cigarettes and alcohol.
(Ain’t Paris great?)
Be sure that you have a valid piece of ID with you, preferably a passport.
The same applies to England.
For a longer stay, more than 30 days, and depending the main reason of your trip, you may need a Visa before you come to France and a foreigners ID after you are in France. It depends for the reason of your trip.
Paris and London are very stimulating places to visit. Have a nice flight.
