I’m not talking about loving your family and being in love with someone of the opposite gender. I’m talking could you love somebody but not be IN love with them?

It’s hard to explain, but yeah, it is different.
Loving someone, but not being in love with them is completely possible.

It’s quite hard to explain but you can love someone but not love him/her romantically. You can love him as a friend, companion or else. As long you didn’t feel anything strange to you like heartbeat become faster or your face turns red when talking to him/her, then you are not in love. We are free to love someone but the definition of love that makes it different.

Yes…I think it’s like loving a friend..a very close friend. Being in love is that you love them romantically..it’s sort of hard to explain but yes. It is different, in a way
