I think you are using the wrong term. “Coitus” is the act of intercourse leading to ejaculation, which of course has been going on since the advent of internal fertilization millions of years ago.Answer by Humberto
Umm, no. I wasn’t there, but I’m pretty sure that the sexual act of union predated both Hellenic and Roman civilization. By thousands and thousands of years.
Incidentally, “coitus” could not have been invented by Greeks, as the word is derived from Latin (“coire” = to meet).
Maybe you need to rephrase the question?
