lucky_7_chic: Is it possible for the urethra to be before the clitoris?
My friend insists that her clitoris is after where she pees. Is this a possible deformity or is she just confused?

It may be possible, but extremely unlikely. It is more likely that your friend doesn’t know where her clitoris is.
My medical embryology text says: “Epispadias also occurs in females but it is very rare. It consists of a fissure in the superior [upper] wall of the urethra that opens on the dorsal [upper] surface of the clitoris.”
Answer by SubJIt must be a freak, if at all. It is also possible that she has some growth between the urethra and the anus and she takes it as clitoris.Answer by mark c
maybe you both are confused about what you mean by “after.” she may mean it’s after the urethra as in going up, and you’re thinking about it going down? Best thing would be to ask her to show you so you’re not understand what it’s really like.Answer by Triz
I think she is just confused. The clitoris is a mass of tissue homologous to the glans of the male’s penis. Before birth, all babies have the same genitals. From our genetics class, the presence of Y chromosome in male determines the maleness. In its absence, the child will be female.
As you can see, the bigger part of the the glans of the male is above the penis rather than below the penis. Because of homology, females have their clitoris above the urethra.
