yes. you need to see a doctor on this a month and still having trouble there . i would tell you to see a .dr. as soon as you can better safe rather than sorry . my opion?
I used Aldara (Imiquimod) cream for 5 weeks when I had genital warts.
It made my genital area extremely itchy and irritated!
Aldara can actually cause 2nd and 3rd degree burns if not used correctly. That’s why it’s so important to read the directions carefully and use the medication sparingly.
If it is really bothering you then see the doctor again. Aldara doesn’t work for everyone! You may need to try something else or have the warts removed with surgery! Good luck!
Answer by lotsofluv007Aldara worked really good with me. When I first applied it I was getting itchy and irritated. I contacated my provider and spoke to the nurse(over the phone). NOTE: you can contact the nurses at any time! They will give you advise over the phone.
She advised me to put less on. If you apply to much out of anxiousness to get rid of the warts….DON’T you will get irriated, you’ll stress more and probably cause more warts to appear. So just put as indicated…not too much and follow your providers instructions….
Your provider is your best friend. Especially at times like this…
