Guppy: Is it me or are parents paying less attention to their children?
I’ve heard a few people say stuff about parents.
How parents aren’t paying enough attention to their children, parents aren’t spending enough time with their children, parents aren’t parenting their children, and how parents are relying on the government and schools to parent their children.
But I’ve never really noticed it much. Then again, I’m oblivious to people.

i haven’t noticed either i guess it depends if you live in a big city where both parents have to have jobs to pay for their house but in a small town where houses are cheap i guess its different
Yes.
I was just talking to my husband about this.
People think gameboys and television are a babysitter for their child.
They have no imagination, are overweight, and never play outside.
There have been so many times I could literally take a kid from Walmart and be long gone before the parent even noticed.
It’s so sad to me that they just don’t care anymore.

Really sucks, people are so freaking attached to electronics they’re oblivious to everything around them
Answer by Jumping Trainsparents are paying less attention. Why? Because societies have become SO materialistic that having kids is just another notch in their belt.
Then there’s me, who prolly will NEVER find the right guy and prolly get crap from the foster agencies, even tho I’ve wanted to adopt since I was 16 and now I have my own place and an uni degree and work with kids.
meh!
