Caliloverr I: Is it bad if when you hand in your job application they say “we’ll call you if we want an interview”?
I handed in my application to American Eagle today and the guy told me “We’ll give you a call if we want an interview”. Is that bad? I know they’re hiring, so I thought we would just set up an interview right then and there. please help!!

He would forward your application to HR and they will be the ones to call you so hang in there.

That’s pretty bad, keep trying and fill out more applications, the more places the better your chances trust me

I’ve FILLED over 40 applications and I didn’t get ONE job, I managed to get one under the table for Mervyns, yes it was sign twirling but hey it paid

You should’ve asked for the manager and then, introduced yourself and then hand your application in

finish with, “I’ll be looking forward to the interview!” with a smile

and that’s how you turn your application next time lol, you have to do something memorable

that guy could’ve trashed your application for all you knew!!!
