Is computing A-Level viewed as a “soft” subject by top universities?

Tommy: Is computing A-Level viewed as a “soft” subject by top universities?
I’m planning to take Computing A-Level but am afraid that it is viewed as a weak subject. The thing is however, i’m planning to take computer science at uni. Thanks in advance for answers
