Last week I had cryosurgery to treat cervical dysplasia. My doctor told me to wait 3 weeks before I could have intercourse, use tampons, take baths, go in the pool, etc. However, I am reading online and a lot of web sites are saying to wait 4-6 weeks before doing any of that. I’m confused now. How long do I REALLY have to wait? Thanks!

I would go with the doctor’s recommendation and then call the office back to ask him for further clarification of how long to avoid intercourse for.
