cut wasteful government. There are plenty of programs that do nothing except fund government unions who support candidates. Start there.

Any source of funding can be considered a tax, even if it is a fee based tax.

Our local governments all use sales taxes, property taxes, vehicle and licensing fees. Still taxes, just a different label.

They could actually cut taxes which would increase the number employed and then actually increase tax revenue. They could allow for an environment in which businesses and grow. The more they make the more they invest and the more taxes that are collected. It really is this easy. The disadvantages are that there is a section of the country that wants to sit around and hate those who create jobs. There are those who want to punish the job creators. They would be livid if those evil rich companies did not have to be raped by the govt treasury!
