nyalex09: I had my taxes done recently and I think I was supposed to give the accountant more paperwork than I did?
After I came home from having my taxes done, I found the 2007 IRA contribution information forms 5498 that I forgot to give the accountant. It says all the money that I put into a Simple IRA in 2007. I didn’t take any money out in 2007. Will this affect my tax return? Should I re-do my taxes?

Yes, you’d most likely get a deduction for the amount you put into the IRA so your tax bill for the year would be less.
